Since its foundation in 1991, TRRC has experienced a steady growth in terms of revenue and profit. In the last few years, it also achieved a number of successful takeovers. In 2000, it successfully merged with Direct Call and in December 2003, it took over the services and customers of the bankrupted Magic Phone. Following these takeovers, the company continues to be the strongest player in the IVR market and boasts a very diverse customer portfolio. The company had exclusive partnerships with media companies such as VRT, RTBF, Corelio, AVS, Het Nieuwsblad and De Standaard for many years.

Marketeers have been keen to use its platforms for product support, product/competition marketing (Masterfoods, Coca-Cola, …) or to provide product information (OB, …). Content providers (Lotto, KMI, …) use its platform to sell valuable information or to provide specific services to their customers.

In addition to its IVR services, TRRC has, for the past 2.5 years, also specialised in mobile services. Thanks to its direct connections with all Belgian mobile operators, its market knowledge and its client portfolio, TRRC is now a top-3 player in the Belgian mobile communications market.

TRRC’s current services include SMS and MMS and the supply of information and intertainment. In Q3 2003 TRRC invested in a mobile platform by the company M-wise, making it possible to quickly and efficiently implement the newest technologies on the Belgian market in the following months and years.

Particular examples here are Wap-applications, Java-gaming, Location Based Services and other techniques that will turn the mobile phones of the future into genuine multi-media machines.
