| ACKROYD PUBLICATIONS (100%)

Ackroyd Publications is a well-known publisher of
English language periodicals for the international community in
Belgium, and serves just about every segment of this niche market.
Ackroyd Publications also owns 50% of the capital behind www.Xpats.com,
a joint venture with ING.
Monique Ackroyd set up the publishing house
in 1962 when she launched The Bulletin, which has since become Belgium’s
oldest news magazine and one of the most successful English language
magazines in continental Europe. The paper did very well out of
major international developments in Brussels, such as the arrival
of NATO in 1967 and the rapid expansion of the EU. The business
is run by her son John Stuyck, who will guide the company through
its integration in Corelio in the coming years.
